I’m Sarah Cree, a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist and the founder of Daisydot Healing Therapies.
For the past seven years, I have worked in private practice, supporting adults and couples through difficult life experiences, relationships, loss, change and the process of reconnecting with themselves.
My approach is person-centred, trauma-informed and relational. This means I see you as a whole person rather than a problem to be solved. I will meet you with warmth, honesty and respect, allowing our work to develop at a pace that feels right for you.
A practice built on softening
Daisydot Healing Therapies began with a quiet calling to offer the kind of compassionate support I once needed myself.
In my twenties, I experienced significant personal trauma. Counselling became an important turning point, showing me what safety, understanding and genuine presence can feel like when you are at your most vulnerable.
Over time, I grew into the person I had needed during that period of my life. My experiences shaped my belief that healing does not begin with pressure, performance or being told what to do. It begins with feeling safe enough to arrive exactly as you are.
Today, I offer that same sense of care and acceptance to others. It is a privilege to walk alongside each person for part of their journey.
The story behind my practice.
How I work
I believe meaningful change grows through a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship.
My role is not to direct your journey or decide who you should become. It is to create a calm, compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences without judgement.
Our work may involve talking, reflecting, mindfulness, imagery, writing or other creative tools. Sometimes it may simply involve giving yourself permission to pause.
My practice is:
Person-centred
Trauma-informed
Relational
Neurodivergent-affirming
Creative and reflective
Grounded in compassion and professional care
Although my practice is neurodivergent-affirming, Daisydot is not a specialist neurodivergence service. I welcome people from many different cultures, with many different experiences and adapt our work to the individual in front of me.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
— Carl Rogers
Why Daisydot?
The name Daisydot holds two connected parts of the healing process.
Through therapy, we can begin to reconnect with parts of ourselves that may have felt lost, forgotten, overwhelmed or wounded. In time, we may begin to feel fresh as a daisy again.
Healing often begins by returning to our “day dot”, the place where our story began. This can mean slowing down, making sense of our experiences and gently reconnecting with who we are beneath life’s challenges.
Daisydot honours both parts of this journey: the courage to return to your beginning and the possibility of emerging with a stronger and more compassionate relationship with yourself.

You are welcome as you are.
You do not need to prepare a polished version of your story or know exactly what you want from therapy.
You can begin with what feels present now. Together, we can create the time and space to understand what you have experienced, reconnect with your strengths and discover what healing means for you.
