Many people arrive at therapy feeling tired. Tired of coping, holding everything together or carrying experiences they have never had the space to fully process.

Therapy offers somewhere to pause.

In our sessions, you can speak freely, explore what is happening for you and move at a pace that feels manageable. You do not need to arrive with a clear goal or know where to begin. We can start with what feels present now.

You will be met with warmth, respect and acceptance, without pressure to perform, explain everything perfectly or become someone different.

A space where you can let go

What can therapy support you with?

I work with adults and couples experiencing a wide range of challenges, including:

  • Trauma and the impact of difficult life experiences

  • Grief, bereavement and loss

  • Relationship difficulties and recurring patterns

  • Change, uncertainty and major life transitions

  • Emotional overwhelm and difficulty coping

  • Identity, confidence and self-worth

  • Menopause and emotional wellbeing

  • Neurodivergent experiences

You may recognise yourself in several of these areas or you may simply know that something does not feel right. You do not need to fit your experience into a particular category before reaching out.

A person-centred approach

My work is rooted in person-centred therapy. This means our sessions are shaped around you rather than following a fixed programme.

I trust that you have an understanding of yourself that can unfold when you are offered the right conditions: safety, acceptance, empathy and genuine human connection.

I will not rush you or tell you what you should do. Instead, we will work collaboratively, exploring your experiences with curiosity and compassion.

Therapy can sometimes bring difficult feelings to the surface. If this happens, we will approach them carefully and with respect for your individual needs.

Working creatively and gently

Talking can be a powerful part of therapy, but it is not the only way to explore what you are experiencing.

Depending on what feels helpful for you, our sessions may also include:

  • Mindfulness and opportunities to pause

  • Guided imagery and visualisation

  • Reflective writing or drawing

  • Inner child work

  • Exploring the connection between emotions and the body

There is no expectation to use any particular tool or approach. Our work will be guided by what feels comfortable, meaningful and supportive for you.

Trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming

My practice is trauma-informed, which means I recognise how past experiences can continue to affect how we feel, relate to others and move through the world.

Our work will prioritise emotional safety, choice and collaboration. You remain in control of what you share, and there is no pressure to disclose experiences before you feel ready.

I also offer a neurodivergent-affirming space. This means recognising and respecting different ways of thinking, communicating, processing and experiencing the world without treating difference as something that needs to be corrected.

Daisydot is not a specialist neurodivergence service. It is an inclusive practice where neurodivergent clients, alongside people from many different backgrounds, cultures and experiences are welcome

Individual and couples therapy

I offer online therapy for individual adults and couples.

Individual therapy gives you a confidential space to explore your experiences, relationships, emotions and sense of self.

Couples therapy offers space to understand what is happening within your relationship, communicate more openly and explore the experiences and patterns affecting your connection.

In both individual and couples work, the therapeutic relationship is built gradually, with care, respect and attention to the needs of those involved.

Online sessions

Online therapy allows you to access support from a private and familiar space.

Sessions last 50 minutes and are available during the daytime and evening from Monday to Friday, with additional availability on Sundays.

To take part, you will need:

  • A stable internet connection or phone signal

  • Access to a laptop, tablet or phone

  • A private space where you cannot be overheard

  • Freedom from interruptions where possible

Beginning therapy

Before arranging your first full session, I offer a free 15-minute consultation.

This gives us an opportunity to make initial contact, talk briefly about what has brought you to therapy and consider whether working together feels right.

To begin, please contact me by email or through the enquiry form. I will respond personally, and we can arrange an initial conversation from there.

You do not need to be completely ready or know exactly what to say. You can begin from where you are.
